Have you done a few TDD exercises, but wonder how to bring it to your actual production code? Are you doing TDD in production code, but only for the simplest business rules? Did you TDD something only to feel it went poorly and left your code worse off? Then it sounds like you're ready for an Advanced TDD class.

DevTeams and Quality Coding are teaming up to bring you a workshop in Advanced TDD with Swift. Your trainers will be Rene Pirringer, David Tanzer, and myself. These “three amigos” will combine their backgrounds and strengths. The result will be a workshop better than any one of us could make alone.

Superheroes: The Incredible Hulk, Superman, Spiderman

Together, we combine many years of TDD, technical agile practices, and brain-friendly learning.

I’ve been learning TDD for the past 18 years. But because we each bring different perspectives, I expect to learn new things from the other two! I’m excited to see what those things will be.

The workshop will be on March 12–13, 2020 in Linz, Austria. And if you’d like a warm-up TDD session before getting into the advanced training, that’ll be on February 28.

Sign up now, and you can get save 500€ on a “Super Early Bird” ticket. The Super Early Bird tickets are now sold out! But you can still save 300€ on a regular Early Bird ticket.

About the author

Programming was fun when I was a kid. But working in Silicon Valley, I saw poor code lead to fear, with real human costs. Looking for ways to make my life better, I learned about Extreme Programming, including unit testing, test-driven development (TDD), and refactoring. Programming became fun again! I've now been doing TDD in Apple environments for 20 years. I'm committed to software crafting as a discipline, hoping we can all reach greater effectiveness and joy. Now a coach with Industrial Logic!
